Work in Finance? Read more about Executive coaching for Women in finance
Remove the invisible ceiling in your career and life.
executive coaching
Many accomplished women hit a point where working harder stops working.
I help them find the hidden patterns holding them back, so they can lead with ease in the role they’ve earned without burning out.
Free. 30 minutes. No pitch. If I’m not the right person to help, I’ll tell you.
who this coaching is for
You’re already successful. Yet, something holds you back.
Think of me as a running coach on an obstacle course. I don’t run the race for you. I help you see the obstacles clearly and get over them, and sometimes they dissolve simply by being seen.
Some obstacles are part of the course: a difficult boss, another reorganization, a promise that wasn’t kept. Those are real, and we plan around them with strategy. Others travel with you from one role to the next, in how you think, feel, and react under pressure, and they limit you even when everything on paper is right. That’s the invisible ceiling, and it’s the part you can change.
This is for you if
01 You’re senior and respected, yet you still doubt yourself in certain rooms.
02 Pressure, feedback, or a high-stakes conversation costs you far more than anyone around you can see.
03 You know exactly what to do, and in the moment, something still stops you.
04 You’ve changed roles or companies, and the same situation found you again.
05 You’re weighing your next move and want to make it from a steady place.
what waiting costs
Another year of working harder is not free.
Another promotion cycle goes to someone less prepared.
You keep compensating with longer hours until your health or your family pays for it.
You start believing that something is wrong with you or your job, when it’s a pattern.
None of that is inevitable. Patterns are learned, which means they can be changed.
how it works
Three steps, five levels deep.
Each engagement is like a custom PhD program, focused on the specific patterns holding you back.
what changes
Picture the same job, without the weight.
IN THE ROOM
You walk into the board meeting with a relaxed body and an alert and calm mind, and say what you came to say.
Under pressure
You ask for what you want, and feedback lands as information rather than a verdict, as the hard conversations stop costing you the whole weekend of internal turmoil.
after hours
Your evenings are yours again, and you lead as yourself rather than as a performed version of yourself.
CLIENT STORIES
What changes when the patterns shift
Clients journeys in my words. Details are kept general to protect their privacy.
VP, financial services: two engagements over two years
From imposter syndrome to executive presence
Newly promoted to VP and privately sure she hadn’t earned it, she held back in the meetings where her expertise was most needed.
Where she started
Her leadership team recognized the change; her relationships with her staff improved, and she was invited to speak publicly at her company.
what changed
what we worked on: the body, mind, and behavior
Her presence, her leadership, and how she speaks in the room, as well as her inner dialogue.
Senior product manager, biotech: two engagements over two years
From being stuck at the same level to a bigger role and her evenings back
Respected for her work but stuck at the same level, unsure how to ask for more, and giving her evenings to the job.
Where she started
what we worked on: the unconscious, mind, and behavior
The belief that asking for more was too much of a risk and unsafe, and the habit of saying yes to every request that reached into her evenings.
what changed
She grew in her role, moved to a new company, and got her life outside work back.
Principal scientist, biotech: three engagements over three years
From a temporary role to a permanent one, and promoted
Where she started
Mid-career change, in a temporary role, with self-doubt getting in the way of her best work.
What we worked on · The mind, emotions, and unconscious
The inner voice that said she wasn’t ready and the fear that kept her from asking for the level she had earned. Old fears from past negative work experiences that held her back.
Within six months, she was offered a permanent position. Five more months later, she was promoted.
what changed
director, NONPROFIT: FIVE engagements over seven years
From playing small to asking to be paid her worth
Within three months, she landed the role she had called her ideal job. In the next engagement, she led her first cross-organization project and found her voice with her team. Two years later, she came back to make the case for her own value. She wrote a proposal for a larger role, then walked into her leader’s office and opened the conversation about her salary, steady and grounded, with market research and the raise she had been promised when she started.
Highly trained and deeply capable, she was looking for work that matched her values and paid her fairly. Underneath, she was driven by a sense of not being enough, avoiding money, and keeping herself small so others stayed comfortable.
Where she started
what changed
financial services: two engagements over one year
From afraid of being let go to running her own fund and reclaiming personal life
Where she started
She came in scared of being fired again, short on confidence, and with a personal life that had been neglected due to work demands.
what changed
After two coaching projects, she left the job, started her own fund, joined nonprofit boards she loves, and started dating again.
product leader, tech: five engagements over five years
From second-guessing herself at work and being half-absent at home to leading a team and being present with family
Where she started
Strong in her product work but stuck in a role she had outgrown, doubting her own abilities and dreading the conversations with her manager that could move her forward. Her personal life and creative projects she loved kept getting pushed to someday.
what changed
She asked for the lead role, rewrote her résumé and walked into interviews prepared instead of afraid. Within a year, she started the job she had pictured, with half the commute. When she stepped into her first role leading a team, she learned to go into hard conversations calm and ready. Outside work, her marriage improved, and she built a rewarding morning routine and grew closer to the people in her life.

questions
-
Yes. What you share in our sessions, calls, or email correspondence stays between us, including when your employer sponsors the coaching.
-
Most clients meet three times a month for 60 minutes and complete a short weekly success report. Spot coaching is there when you need it.
-
Yes. Sessions happen over video and are scheduled around your calendar, and 20-minute spot coaching calls cover the moments that can’t wait for the next session.
-
Thirty minutes are about where you are and what’s getting in the way. You’ll leave with a clearer view of the pattern, whether or not we work together. No pitch. If I think I can help you, I’ll invite you to a clarity session to evaluate more and for you to get a taste of what coaching together is like, and to talk about what working together is like.
-
You’ll experience the impact of coaching before you decide. The clarity session is a real 90-minute coaching session, so you’ll know how the work is structured and what it could change before you commit to anything. And if I don’t think I’m the right person to help you, I’ll tell you on our first call.
-
Because every engagement is shaped around your goals, I share the investment options at the end of your clarity session, once we both understand what you’re working toward and what it will take to get there. It also depends on the level of support your goals require.
-
Yes. Companies including Google have sponsored my clients’ coaching, usually from a development budget. I’m happy to help you provide the invoice and make the case.

Therapy tends to focus on healing the past and sometimes is necessary especially for someone who’s gone through serious trauma. Coaching is all about what’s present now and your goals for the future. I draw on psychology and somatic-based work to help you get unstuck as it applies to your goals, but it’s not therapeutic treatment. If something calls for a therapist, I’ll tell you.
-
Mentoring is powerful and I highly recommend it. It’s about learning from someone’s direct experience in your field often with the goal of replicating what they do. Coaching is about unblocking you so that you can take advice from your mentors and apply it without subconsciously sabotaging the results. Mentoring and coaching work really well together.

about
I spent years in rooms where talent was everywhere, and advancement was highly selective, and I know what it costs to hold it together all day, then replay every conversation in your mind at home.
I began my career as an investment banker at JPMorgan, then spent nearly ten years at Training the Street teaching more than 5,000 bankers, consultants, lawyers, and MBA students the technical skills to perform. Alongside that work, I earned a master’s degree in psychology and studied what actually drives performance under pressure.
Since 2016, I’ve worked one-on-one with accomplished women to find the patterns that hold them back and change them, so the strategy they already have can finally work. We start with your goals and look underneath only when something stands in the way. Companies, including Google, have sponsored my coaching for their talent, and more than 90% of my clients renew.
